Extended Tamp Blow
Two (2) of these Custom
Automatic Extended Tamp Blow Applicators are integrated with the
customer’s manufacturing equipment for a zero downtime label
application station. The applicators apply a label onto the
radius surface of an automobile axle while it is nested in a
custom support pallet. The space restraints and application
specifications required a precise applicator design. A pneumatic
slide transfers a tamp assembly into position next to the
trailing edge of the axle as it travels along a conveyor. A tamp
cylinder presses a vacuum pad with the label against the radius
surface applying the center of the label and a blast of air
completes the application. A complete media monitoring system
alerts the control system that the applicator requires attention
and the second applicator is placed into production.

Print
Inspection System
This Custom Print Inspection
System was designed for the Pharmaceutical Industry. Fanfold or roll
fed labels are printed in a Thermal Transfer Printer and indexed
beneath a camera in an inspection system. The controls are designed
to allow the system to be operated in either manual or automatic
mode. A powered rewind winds the inspected labels onto a roll to be
removed by the operator.

410CW
This Automatic Model 410CW Print
and Apply Application System was designed to apply a corner wrap
label onto the trailing corner of a very small light weight
pharmaceutical carton. The specifications for the application
required a very precise label placement on the carton. Product
pacing and positioning gates were utilized for ease of operation.
