SYSTEM ASSESSMENT

The first step in our proven methodology is a System Assessment. This service can include the following:

  • Management and Staff Interviews - What are the business needs driving a project? What is the expectation? What is the desired payback?

  • Plant Surveys - What is the current physical layout? What existing infrastructure exists? Can we capitalize on the existing infrastructure?

SuperUser will develop a needs analysis based on the interviews, plant walkthrough, and management consultations. This is the basis for the design of the automated system which will result in a requirements list for software and hardware recommendations.

It is our job to present solutions that:

  • Capitalize on your previous investments through judicious use of your existing resources

  • Maximize current practices that are effective

  • Introduce new strategies, tools, and equipment that impact supply chain technologies based on current and future industry direction.

Recognizing that each client is different, our solutions are tailored to meet specific client needs and objectives. No ready-made solutions are tailored to meet specific client needs and objectives. No ready-made solution to sell (before we understand what your real needs and business objectives are). No cookie-cutter answers. Just solid, analytical and strategic processes that result in successful implementations designed to deliver a customized, high-impact solution to your business - one with a real pay back.

Operations Flow Analysis - How does the client operate currently? What are the current productivity levels? What efficiencies can easily be gained? How does this operation compare to other plants in similar industry?

Ultimately, the Site Survey/Assessment serves to give you a baseline with which to measure project success. It quantitatively identifies what areas you can capitalize on to obtain the optimum pay back and as such, what areas of the project are most important. A by-product of the information gathering process, the Site Survey results in a strong "outsiders" perspective of the following:

  • Insight on the optimum deployment of the technology and staff relative to your business needs.

  • A better understanding on your specific technical operations and installation. This avoids making poor decisions (in the future phases) due to lack of information (or a result of making incorrect assumptions).

  • An objective rendering on the merits of various options in the context of your overall strategic direction as a company.

Key Benefits of this initial step:

  • Free client resources to focus on core competencies.

  • Access to expertise with wider industry exposure and perspective.

  • Increased efficiencies. You realize savings and can capitalize on the plethora of templates and checklists developed as part of our methodology.

  • Increased speed to market.
