 One
of the most common usages is for "piggyback" labels, where the label
can be typed or otherwise imaged while on the form, then removed and
placed on a carton, etc. A "liner" would remain on the carrier form
which could be "self-imaging" if a copy of the typed label is
required. Labels can be pre-printed with static information by the
label company, but the image will not appear on the "liner".
We can blow labels
onto continuous, unit set, or cut singles - 7 1/3", 8", 11", 12",
14", 17", and divisibles.
Labels must be die
cut, waste removed, on rolls, preferably with 1/8" between labels.
Ordinarily they have one small vertical slit for ease of removal.
Minimum label size
is 6" wide by 8 3/4" deep
Minimum size is
3/4" by 3/4"
Deliveries
generally run for weeks. Labels can be numbered, bar coded, colored,
foil stamped or embossed. Labels can be printed in up to six colors,
using PMS matches. Laser compatible labels are also available.
