Saddle stitching is simply placing a staple through the center spine of multiple pages then folding them over to form a booklet. We can produce up to 60 pages with a maximum thickness of 5/32". If 40 pages or more, there will be a glue line added where the booklet is saddle stitched.

Maximum booklet size is 8 1/2" x 12"

Minimum booklet size is 3" x 5 5/8"

Stock for booklets should be 20 lbs. or heavier. We recommend 50# offset to avoid show through. 50# offset and 60# offset are readily available stock papers.

Booklets are bulk packed unless other options are requested and can be produced with self-covers or with specialty covers. Deliveries generally run two to three weeks. Minimum quantity is 1000. Pricing is most competitive at 2500 booklets and above due to our production methods. A union bug is available if needed.

Integrated Envelope

We also offer a saddle-stitched book design that incorporates a tear out envelope into the design of the booklet. This is especially useful for business reply, fund raising, or any project where a response is returned.
